Site Editor
[ Appearance > Editor ]
The Site Editor contains all of the templates used to build your site. They include the following templates:
Templates
- Home: The homepage template; this is where you would also edit the content for the homepage
- Page: The template applied to all created pages
- Single: The template applied to all blog posts
Template Parts
- Footer: Repeated on all pages
- Header: Repeated on all pages
Pages
[ Pages > All Pages ]
- [ Pages > Add New ] Update title, URL Slug if needed, and Featured image.
- Under Yoast SEO, add a Meta Description (likely the same as the Excerpt), update slug if needed.
- Click the “+” button and “Browse All”. Select “Blocks” or “Patterns” and search for the components that best match your content. Click “Publish” to publish the page or “Save Draft” to save for later.
- Optimize Images: Ideal size is less than 100KB for most images. For large background images, the size can be increased up to 200KB. A compressor like TinyPNG can help reduce your image size.

Accessibility
Your site was created with accessibility in mind. Color contrast, site navigation, page structure, and other elements have been modified to keep your site accessible to as many users as possible. If any user has an issue navigating your site, please contact anita@fightingfawn.com with your accessibility request.
When adding images, please add an “alt” description. This description will be read to anyone using a screen reader. If the image is merely decorative, or used as a background image, you should leave the “alt” description blank. When adding content, use proper headlines to identify different sections. An H1 should be used as the first headline on a page, and H2’s for subsequent sections.
